Port Saint-Nicolas

Brittany is one of the 27 regions of France, located in the North-Western side of the country and it is known as a cultural region. It contains 5 departments: Finistere, Cotes-d’Armor, Ille-et-Villaine, Loire-Atlantique and Morbihan. The entire region is surrounded by the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, which adds more beauty to the natural aspect of the area, where high cliffs, imposing mountains, a rich cultural and historical heritage and bohemian villages are gathered all in one place.

This city is considered the capital of the region and there are many significant sights that can be visited here, due to the historical events that happened in the past and have placed a great weight on Brittany’s shoulders. The historic centre of the city is split into a few areas that have an important historical meaning for the city, such as the Parlement de Bretagne and the city hall area, the Place des Lices and Cathedral area, the remains of the ramparts, the Place Saint-Anne area, the Thabor Park area and the South City Centre.
