Languedoc – Roussillon, also known as Lengadoc – Rosselhon in Occitan and Llenguadoc – Rossello in Catalan, is an important region of France that is located in the southern side of the country, having an exit to the Mediterranean Sea. This region is comprised of five departments: Audee, Gard, Herault, Lozere and Pyrenees-Orientales.
