Lixouri Marina is a large harbour situated in the village of Lixouri is the second largest community on Kefalonia Island and can be found 30 km west of Argostoli, around a blue bay, overlooking the capital.
There is a small private marina 200 metres N of the main harbour, where a yacht may be able to negotiate a berth. The marina is entered from NE between a long detached E breakwater and a shorter S one. The only space likely to be available is on the third pontoon from the N end, where there are several laid moorings tailed to pickup buoys.
The moorings are owned by the Sea Trek charter company and you may be lucky enough to find one free for a short stay. Depths on the pontoon are 3.75 metres. There is water and electricity on the pontoons. Shelter here is excellent in all conditions.
