Royal Suva Yacht Club

Royal Suva Yacht Club is located in Suva Harbor, in the capital of Fiji. Situated on the southeast coast of Viti Levu, the largest island of Fiji, Suva is built on a peninsula between Laucala Bay and Suva Harbor, protected by a reef. The Yacht Club has great sunset views over the bay and it’s a popular gathering spot for locals and tourists alike. Because the coastline around Suva is lined with mangroves, the nearest beach is about 40 km away, at Pacific Harbor, where several dive operators offer trips to the Beqa lagoon, plus a range of activities including scuba diving, snorkeling, horse riding, cultural tours, and trekking. The small islands surrounding Suva and Pacific Harbor are great spots for a day trip: Ovalau is an oval shaped volcanic island that houses Fiji’s former capital; Levuka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; Beqa offers spectacular diving and fishing spots; and Kadavu is a popular destination for travelers looking for pristine beaches and fantastic scuba diving.
