Yacht Club de Saint François

Yacht Club de Saint François is located in the south-east of Grand-Terre Island, about 36 km from Pointe-à-Pitre, in Saint François village. Stretching on a plateau along Pointe des Châteaux peninsula, Saint François offers spectacular views of La Désirade Island, a great snorkeling and diving spot with white beaches protected by long coral reefs. In the nearby village of Sainte Anne, the daily colorful market is located in front of the small fishing port. Bordered to the south by the Caribbean Sea and to the west and east by the Atlantic Ocean, Guadeloupe is characterized by its butterfly shape given by the two main islands Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre. The coastline is very diverse, alternating between sandy beaches, coves, lagoons and a relief carved by the activity of the Soufriere volcano. Palm trees line the white sand beaches, like Raisins Clairs or Anse à la Gourde.
