Zones de Mouillage de Pietrosella

Located just 30 km from Ajaccio, the town of Pietrosella offers organized mooring over 3 coves on both sides of Isolella peninsula: Cala Madea on the south, St. Barbara and Stagnola on the north. These organized mooring areas were set up in 2008 with the intention of protecting the site from overexploitation and Pietrosella is now a member of the Corsican Union of Recreational Ports. Tourism in Pietrosella, a small town of about 1,200 people, has been steadily increasing in recent years as people find out about this beautiful location between the mountains and the sea. Regarding the accommodation, there are apartments and villas available, one hotel, two camping sites and many restaurants facing the sea. The focal points are the old houses and the Genoese tower standing at the southern limit of Ajaccio gulf. Pietrosella’s vast coastline is a dream come true for sunbathers and water sports enthusiasts. Many hiking trails start from the tower and offer exceptional views of the sea.
