A beautiful province that is the third biggest state in Germany - Baden-Wurttemberg is a superb state in Germany positioned in the south-western part of the country. The Mercedes-Benz Arena is the home of VfB and is one of the most magnificent arenas in all of the country. It was built in 1933 at the order of Adolf Hitler and is open for visitation. Admire the trophy room and locker rooms or enter the pitch for the ultimate sensations.
The Old Castle of Meersburg is an exciting landmark to visit especially for its unique architecture and immense size. The castle can be seen from every place in town and is still open for visitation. Book guided tours that would take you inside the large halls and narrow corridors. This venue offers beautiful artwork like superb paintings, excellent rock carvings and a superb piano made out of elephant tusks.
If you decide to visit Baden-Wurttemberg, do not miss the Stuttgart Spring Festival. Held between April and May, it is the biggest festival in Europe. The most famous attraction is the huge Ferris Wheel. Get your adrenaline pumping in the many roller coasters or enjoy traditional food and beverages in the many shacks or little lodges.
