St. Hallvard's minne is considered one of the most important, and is a place that commemorates St. Hallvard, the guardian of Oslo. A perfect place to enjoy nature is the natural park Gilhusodden. Take a walk through the dense forests and admire the glacial lakes or get in touch with the local fauna such as deer and elks.
Hurum is the area with the easiest access to the coastline and most beautiful views and landscapes that you have ever seen, the sunsets in this area being called a place where Heaven meets the earth. The most popular Landmark in the vicinity is Filtvet Lighthouse, which is still active. The lighthouse was built in 1840 and still stands tall against the northern sea storms.
