The Croatian peninsula called Istria is located between the Trieste Gulf and the Kvarner Gulf. The identity of this region is very hard to define, giving the fact that it was conquered by different countries along the history. Today, Istria belongs to Croatia, Slovenia and Italy and therefore, the culture and the traditions here are combined. Istria is a destination that will turn any vacation into a passionate experience, thanks to the rich history and the complexity of the sights that can be admired here. The tourists will observe the beautiful design of the cities, medieval-like, filled with narrow streets that are paved, just like in the ancient times.

The most recommended towns in Istria are Novigrad-Cittanova, Buje-Buie, Brtonigla – Verteneglio si Umag-Umago. The Buje-Buie region is filled with cerris, pine woods and vineyards and it hides a geological phenomenon. The region of Umag-Umago is the fourth most interesting place to visit. It is a small town known for the port that is located on the North-Western coast of the peninsula. This area offers many attractive landscapes and the possibility of caving, mountaineering and having many outdoor activities.
